On 8 October 2025, the Legal Aid Bureau’s Appreciation Lunch and Awards Ceremony was held at Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview, to recognise the contributions of law firms and legal professionals who have supported access to justice through their pro bono efforts.

We are happy to share that Ms Gloria James, Head Lawyer of GJC Law, received the 5-Year Appreciation Award, recognising her continued dedication and commitment to providing legal aid services. In addition, GJC Law was presented with the Outstanding Firm – Silver Award, a testament to the firm’s ongoing efforts to serve the community and ensure that quality legal representation remains accessible to all.

Ms. James was accompanied at the ceremony by Sandra Ong and Odelia Tan from GJC Law, who joined in celebrating this meaningful recognition.
